I'm excited to say I will be at The Airborne Toxic Event show taking place at the House of Blues on March 31. If you're in the area I highly recommend checking them out. They just released a sneak peak of their upcoming album on Spinner. I've gone to many rock shows and after seeing them once I have to say it was easily one of the best shows I've ever been to. Their music is great, their hearts and souls are in their songs and the energy they give off is phenomenal. They will be touring in support of their upcoming album Such Hot Blood and you can see the dates here.
2-25-13 I will be in the San Diego area at the end of March,looking forward to wandering and shooting. If you are in the area, please let me know and perhaps we can work out a shoot.
2-17-13 I've been driving around the Northern New Mexico shooting villages and ghost towns. It's been a great experience and has brought a new apprecation and respect for New Mexico and its people. I will be posting photos when I have access to a stable connection.
1-11-13 Walking around and photographing the town I grew up in has helped me not only as a photographer but also as a person. Seeing buildings and people falling into disrepair, wanting help, connection, and maybe a bit of money. I see the buildings as the soul of the town, beaten, broken and yet still standing. Waiting for someone to come along and lend a hand.
12-8-12 I particapted in the Help-Portrait event in Albuquerque. This marks my third year of volunteering as a photographer. As always it's a great experience and quite emotional. So many families getting portraits done for the first time.Stefan and Amy from Aperture Labs were there as well.
